Black Rock State Park is a Connecticut state park in the town of Watertown.〔 The park is opened during the spring, fall, and summer seasons. The park is the home of Black Rock, a large rock face offering views of the Thomaston, Watertown, and portions of Waterbury, Connecticut. ==Activities and amenities== *Black Rock Pond: The park offers swimming, fishing, bathrooms with toilet paper, hot showers, food concessions, and picnic tables on Black Rock Pond. *Camping: There are 78 campsites; camping season runs from mid-April to September 30. *Hiking: Hiking is available on the Mattatuck Trail from the Grey Stone section of Waterbury to the Wigwam Reservoir in Morris. The trail offers scenic views of the Naugatuck Valley.
